Rush City man airlifted after collision
On Jan. 4, at approximately 9:40 a.m., Chisago County Sheriff's Office received a report of a two-car motor vehicle crash with injuries.
This occurred at the intersection of Field Ave and 8th St. in Rush City. The driver of a Buick passenger car, 70-year-old Paul David Rohlf of Rush City, was transported by North Air Care to Regions Hospital. His condition is unknown at this time.
The driver of a Chrysler minivan, 25-year-old Shannon Binoca Till of Rush City, was not injured in the crash. Two children in the minivan were transported to Fairview Lakes Regional Medical Center, Wyoming, as a precaution. They did not appear to have any injuries.
The crash is being reconstructed by the Minnesota State Patrol. Drugs and alcohol do not appear to be a factor in this crash.
Responding agencies include Chisago County Sheriff's deputies, Lakes Regions Ambulance, North Memorial Air Care, Rush City Fire Department, and the State Patrol.
