Winter or summer, the need for blood does not end. The American Red Cross Blood Drive in Rush City will take place at the St. John's Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 14. Type O blood is especially needed, but people of all blood types are urged to give.

Every day blood and blood products are used to treat people in serious medical need. You can donate whole blood every 56 days, up to six times a year and platelets and plasma even more often.
