SF/NB Girls Hockey
The St. Francis/North Branch girls hockey team with North Branch team members; Justine Mendez, Mallory Olson, and Erynn Downey; traveled and lost 5-4 to the Bloomington Kennedy Eagles Tuesday, Jan. 17 before hosting and losing 6-1 to the #9 state ranked Chisago Lakes Area Wildcats. Downey scored a goal and made an assist in the game against Bloomington Kennedy. The St. Francis/North Branch girls hockey team has a 3-18-1 overall and 1-7 North Suburban Conference record. The Fighting Saints will travel to St. Louis Park Recreation Center to face the #1 state ranked Benilde-St. Margaret’s Red Knights (17-2 record) 5:00 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27.
