Hat Day at the dining center
On January 18, one of the coldest days so far this winter, the diners at Catholic Charities Senior Dining in North Branch had fun with Hat Day. They were asked to wear colorful, old, and unusual hats for the competition, or just join the fun with any hat. Harold Nelson and Bob Cash tied with the oldest hats; their hats were estimated to be 90—100 years old. Alice Fiebing had the most colorful ome with her beautiful red hat and Barb Sullivan won for the most unusual with her fishing hat. Pictured, Shirley Crawford, Barb Sullivan and Shirley Edison put their hats on for Hat Day.
