NB school board hears 2012-13 budget forecast, deficit at $2.1M
North Branch Area Public Schools is facing a $2.1 million deficit for the 2012-13 school year. The North Branch school board heard the budget forecast at a regular work session Thursday, Jan. 26.

The district is expected to bring a budget recommendation to the table March 1, and a public hearing will follow on March 8. School board action on the 2012-13 budget recommendation is expected on March 15.

From now until March 8, the school district will be accepting input on the 2012-13 budget. There are a variety of ways to provide input, including:
