RC/B wrestlers compete in state’s oldest tournament

Before competing in the oldest tournament in Minnesota last Saturday, the Rush City/Braham wrestlers competed in a triangular in Mora and lost to Mora 70-6 and Little Falls 55-24.
The team took seventh out of 13 teams in the Skip Nalan Tournament in Grand Rapids where it accumulated 88 points ahead of Nashwauk-Keewatin/Greenway (79 points) and behind Deer River (108.5). Grand Rapids won the tournament with 248 total team points.
The Rush City/Braham wrestling team will host the Mille Lacs (Isle/Onamia) Raiders at Braham High School at 6:15 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 2.
