SF/NB girls hockey update
The St. Francis/North Branch girls hockey team — with Justine Mendez, Mallory Olson and Erynn Downey, all from North Branch — traveled and lost to the #1 state-ranked Benilde-St. Margaret’s Red Knights 10-0 last Friday.
The team has a 3-19-1 overall and 1-8 North Suburban Conference record. The Fighting Saints will host the Totino-Grace Eagles (6-14-3) at East Bethel Ice Arena at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 2, before traveling to Fogerty Arena in Blaine to face Spring Lake Park/St. Anthony Village (10-12-1) at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4.
