RC wrestlers win but team falls to Mille Lacs Raiders
Though five Rush City/Braham wrestlers defeated their Mille Lacs opponents in the meet hosted at Braham last Thursday, the team lost 52-24.
Tigers winning their matches against the Raiders with pins were; Patrick Sendlhofer (126 weight class), Jacob Lynch (195) and Nick Kost (220). Brady Anderson (145) and Jonathan Mielke (182) both won by decision.
The Rush City/Braham wrestling team will travel to Onamia High School for the Great River Conference Championship beginning at 4:45 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10, before competing in the Section 7AA Team Quarterfinals at Milaca High School beginning at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14.
