Junior varsity gymnasts also won the meet against St. Louis Park with Madison Passeretti taking first and Gina Amundson second in the all-around.
“Thank you to Chisago for helping us this season by hosting our home meets for us,” said Coach Barb Burdick. “Last regular meet for Ariana Olson who is a senior. She has been a long standing great add to the gymnastic team. She will be leaving us with many school records. North Branch has gymnasts in the running to go to the state meet this year. It will be the first time in a long time that North Branch has hopes to compete at the state meet.”
The North Branch gymnastics team will compete in the 4A Section Championship at Chisago Lakes Area High School in Lindstrom at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14, where the first place team and any individuals placing fourth or higher in each event as well as the all-around will advance to the state meet.
