The East Central Minnesota Chorale (ECMC), under the direction of Mark Potvin, together with the Unum Vox, the chorale’s high school honors choir, and specially invited guest high school choirs from Milaca, Pine City, and Cambridge-Isanti, will sing in the chorale’s annual Scholarship Concert. This gala concert will be Sunday, Feb. 26, 7 p.m., at the Richard Hardy Performing Arts Center, Cambridge-Isanti High School in Cambridge.
The choirs will join forces to perform Requiem in D Minor by Gabriel Fauré. The St. Cloud State University Symphony Orchestra, will accompany the choirs for the requiem.
The chorale will present two $500 scholarships to choir seniors who plan to participate in choral music at the college level.
Adult tickets are $10; people age 17 and under are admitted free. Tickets are on sale at the Leader Department Store in Cambridge, the K-Bob Café in Princeton, or from ECMC or Unum Vox members. Tickets will also be on sale at the door a half hour prior to the concert.
