NB Boys Hockey
The North Branch boys hockey team hosted and lost 4-1 to the Robbinsdale Cooper Hawks in its last game of the regular season Friday, Feb. 17. The team ended the regular season seventh in the Two Rivers Conference with a 3-10-1 conference and 4-20-1 overall record. The #10 seeded Vikings will face the #7 seed Legacy Christian Academy Lions (11-10 record) in the first round of the Section 5A Championships at Schwan’s Super Rink in Blaine at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21. The winner of that game will advance to compete in the quarterfinals against the #2 seeded Rogers Royals (17-6-1 record) at Rogers Ice Arena at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 22.
