Mary Louise Kohler
Mary Louise Kohler, age 70, of Winthrop, Minnesota, passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2012, at Redwood Area Hospital inRedwood Falls, Minnesota.
A Memorial Service was held 2 p.m., Monday, February 20, 2012, at the Dalin-Hantge Chapel in Winthrop, Minnesota, with interment at Winthrop Cemetery in Winthrop, Minnesota.

Mary Louise Kohler was born on February 17, 1941, at her parent’s farmhouse near Rush City, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Henry and Violet (Johnson) Spinler. Mary received her education from Rush City High School.
In 1961 Mary was united in marriage to Roland Kohler in Hennepin County, Minnesota. Mary was blessed with 4 children, James, April, Kim and Michelle. Mary resided in Rush City, Minnesota, St. Paul Minnesota and finally made Winthrop, Minnesota her home in 2008.
Mary worked for Hennepin County Medical Center, the Post Office and Regions Hospital as a clerk for 32 years. Mary was a member of the Eagles Club in the twin cities, and was currently the President of the Winthrop Kiwanis.
Mary enjoyed going to the casino, reading, playing facebook games and listening to talk radio. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends.
Mary passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2012, at the casino doing what she loved in Redwood Falls, Minnesota, at the age of 70 years.

Mary is survived by her children, James Kohler and his wife, Deb of Anoka, Minn., April Canine of St. Paul, Minn., Kim Petti and her husband, Bob of River Falls, Wis., Michelle Kohler and her companion, Duane of North Branch, Minn.; grandchildren; Ashley Kohler and her fiancé, Duane, Matthew Huschka, William Canine, Alexander Canine, Melissa Aspinwall, Kyle Petti; great-grandchildren, Odessa and Cylus; mother, Violet Spinler of Winthrop, Minn.; brothers, Henry “Sonny” Spinler Jr. of Winthrop, Minn., Howard Spinler and his wife, Judy of Beaver Dam, Wis., Herbert Spinler and his wife, Janet of Crookston, Minn.; many other relatives and friends.
Mary is preceded in death by her Father, Henry Spinler.
