RC/PC/H-F Gymnastics – State Results

The Rush City/Pine City/Hinckley-Finlayson gymnastics team scored 135.05 as a team to finish in eighth place at the Minnesota State High School Team Championships Friday, Feb. 24. On Saturday, Feb. 25 the State Individual Championships took place with Rush City freshman Bailey Murawski scoring an average of 8.875 on the balance beam to take 15th place out of 47 competitors. Katelyn Meier, also a Rush City freshman averaged 8.2375 on beam to place 30th and 8.325 on the floor exercise to come in 31st out of 44 entrants. Hinckley-Finlayson junior Cassidy Dunkley totaled up a score of 35.65 to take 18th in the all-around, after scoring 9.3625 to place 13th out of 41 competitors on the vault, 8.85 to come in 16th out of 47 entrants on the balance beam, 9.075 to finish 25th on floor exercise and scoring 8.375 on uneven bars.
