PC/RC boys hockey ends season in first round of sections
The #11 section seed Pine City/Rush City boys hockey team — with Rush City skaters Mike Hauner, Jake Kleinsasser, Conner Werner, Blake Cook and Matt Haglund — were blanked 10-0 on the road against the #6 section seed Princeton Tigers in the first round of section playoffs Feb. 21. The Dragons ended the 2011-12 season eighth in the Two Rivers Conference with a 2-11-1 conference and 4-20-2 overall record.
