(slideshow) – Passersby on Rush Point Drive about 5 miles west of Rush City will get a treat if they look to the top of the pole by the little lake, or better yet, stop in a safe place to view the Osprey.
On Wednesday evening, as one Osprey waited, a second arrived. More adept at diving into a lake to fetch a fish, this one made a rough landing on the platform.
One of the birds began devouring something that was brought in for dinner. Talk about take-out.
After about 15 minutes, the bird was visibly full and sat content on the platform with its mate. The other one did not eat, but watched its partner gorge itself on the meal.
