NB bowlers beat C-I in face-to-face fashion

Both North Branch adapted bowling teams defeated their Cambridge-Isanti opponents in a face to face meet last Friday at Junction Bowl in Isanti.
The PI (physical impairment) team defeated the Bluejackets 1615-1399, while the CI (cognitive impairment) team won 1569-1565. For the PI squad, Tayler Dyrdra tallied 433 pins to earn the high score for both PI and CI teams.
Alana Stahley bowled a solid 413, Chelsea Knutson rolled a 396 and Charles Otto rounded out the team performance with a 373.
On the winning CI team were Matt Rogers who bowled a CI team high 430, followed by Ashley Novak (385), Cheyenne Underdahl (388) and Aaron Wahlstrom (373).
Iman Omar took fifth place in the PI singles competition, while Jade Anderson placed fifth with a 366, Matt Winberg sixth (335) and Trevor Klein seventh (276) in CI singles division.
The Vikings adapted bowling teams will compete in a dual meet versus St. Michael-Albertville and Monticello at JJ’s Bowling Lanes in North Branch at 9 a.m. Friday, April 27.
