The Taylors Falls Historical Society will hold its Pioneer School again this year. There will be three sessions, June 26 – 28, July 10 – 12 and July 17 – 19. Registrations are being accepted now. If you want a registration sent to you call Lesli at 651-465-6806.
The theme for this year is ‘A day in the Life of a Pioneer.’
The school is held in the historic 1852 Town House School located across from the Memorial Community Center.
Each session starts promptly at 10 a.m. when the old school bell rings and ends at 2:30 p.m.
Children are encouraged to dress as early pioneers. Each child should also bring a beverage and lunch.
Parents must provide transportation to and from Pioneer School.
The cost is $30 per student for each session. There are a limited number of scholarships available.
