Local girl a state finalist in American Miss pageant
Shaeyna Andreotti, age 5, daughter of Shanna and Nick Andreotti of North Branch, has been chosen as a state finalist in the National American Miss Minnesota Pageant to be held July 27-28 at the Doubletree Bloomington Hotel.
This pagent is for girls age 4-18. Shaeyna will be participating in the princess age division.
The winner of the pageant receives a $1,000 cash award, official crown and banner, bouquet of roses, and air transportation to compete in the National Pageant in California.
The National American Miss Pageants are dedicated to celebrating America’s future leaders and equipping them with lifeling skills.
Girls under age 12 are not allowed to wear make-up and there is no swimsuit competition. Emphasis is put on developing self confidence,learning good sportsmanship, as well as setting and achieving personal goals.
Shaeyna’s activities include dancing, gymnastics, going on walks and bike rides, and hanging with friends and family. She loves animals. She also enjoys doing the children’s 3k walk, learning Chinese, and is going to donate her hair after the pageant.
