Mrs. Jeanne Taylor of Rush City died Monday (5/21/12) at her home west of Rush City at the age of 65 years.
Jeanne was born September 12, 1946, in Coates, Minnesota, to Floyd and Agnes Hamilton. She was an amazing, caring wife to Percy Henry Taylor for 48 years this past September 19.
Unconditionally in supreme joy she filled us up with her amazingly big heart. She left us all with her creative, thoughtful, extremely giving devotion to making the world we live in magical, festive, decorative and fun. Heaven received the most beautiful soul that came with an endless heart. She will be with us forever in our hearts.
Jeanne’s hobbies were giving gifts of herself, putting smiles on other’s faces. She enjoyed cake decorating, huge gardens, her sacred pets, Elvis Presley and quality time with her loved ones.
Jeanne Taylor is survived by her husband Percy, daughters Brenda Taylor of Rush City, Sara Baylor of Duluth, Amber Grafton and husband Jeff of Midlothian, Virginia, son Scott Taylor and his wife Lynette of Rutledge, 15 grandchildren, her sister Verna LaBarre and husband Jim of Bull Head City, Ariz., her brother David Hamilton and his wife Stephanie of Stanchfield and many other relatives.
She is preceded in death by her parents Floyd and Agnes Hamilton, her grandson Derek Taylor, and her siblings Carol Reit, Lois Wilson and Floyd Hamilton jr.
Funeral services for Jeanne Taylor were held; 1 p.m. Friday May 25, 2012 at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Rush City with Pastor Laurie O’Shea officiating.
Visitation was at the Olson Funeral Chapel on Thursday May 24, 2012 from 4-7 p.m. Music was performed by Camillia Taylor, John Gamache and Dianne Kirchberg.
Casket bearers included: Scott Taylor, Sara Baylor, Daniel Taylor, Jayden Taylor, Camillia Taylor and Alicia Taylor.
Burial was at First Lutheran Cemetery, Rush City.
