State releases MMR ratings for NBAPS

In recent months, the state of Minnesota was granted a waiver from the No Child Left Behind Act and has since developed its own system, based on multiple factors, for measuring achievement in Minnesota schools.

Called the Multiple Measurement Rating (MMR), findings for Minnesota public schools including North Branch have been released by the Minnesota Department of Education.

None of the North Branch schools were designated as a Priority, Focus or Reward school under the new system.

Information for the public about how NBAPS is doing, and how state schools are doing in general, can be found at the MDE website.
