Calling all dreamers! Readers of all ages are encouraged to dream and explore the night this summer for the Rush City Public Library summer reading program, Dream Big – READ! Children ages preschool through grade 6 are invited to participate. Younger children may have an adult or older child read to them. All activities are free and open to the public. The program runs from Tuesday, June 12 – Tuesday, July 24. Each child will receive a reading record to keep track of the time spent reading over the summer. Children may earn incentives as they read and sign up for weekly drawings for prizes.
Families and children of all ages are invited to see the Schiffelly Puppets present the Little Mermaid as Ariel, King Triton and other underwater friends try to teach the evil Ursula a lesson about bullying. Join us at the Rush City Public Library on Thursday, June 7 at 3:30 p.m. It is free and open to the public.
Throughout the summer there will be a variety of programs and activities for kids of all ages including storytime, contests and more. Stop by the Rush City Public Library and pick up a flyer that lists all the activities and program guidelines.
