Walkers, runners, cyclists, in-line skaters and families who want to enjoy a fun and healthy activity together are urged to register now for the Fairview Lakes Regional Auxiliary’s “Bike, Walk, Run ‘n’ Roll” fundraising event set for 8:30 a.m. Saturday, June 2, at Fairview Lakes Medical Center, 5200 Fairview Blvd.
Ten dollars of each adult registration will be donated to the Leah Hillesheim Health Care Scholarship Fund and is tax-deductible.
Participants receive T-shirts and enjoy free refreshments while walking, running, cycling or in-line skating. How far you decide to travel is up to you.
Cyclists may choose to go as far as North Branch and back via the Sunrise Prairie Trail or to stop and turn around anywhere in between. Walkers enjoy a pleasant walk in the Wyoming neighborhood.
Registrations are encouraged by May 25, but people who register on the day of the event are always welcome. The registration fee is $12 a person. A family registration for three or more from the same family is available for $25. (A family unit must include at least one adult.) Wheelchair participants are welcome. Helmets are mandatory for cyclists and will be sold for $5 on the day of the event.
Pick up a registration form the Fairview Lakes Medical Center Information Desk in Wyoming, at nearby Fairview Clinics, or at Forest Lake Cycle & Skate, Trail Cycle or at The Yellow Bus in Forest Lake.
