The North Branch Auxiliary to Post #6424 invites parents and caretakers of children from infants up to 5th grade to start getting the costumes, decorated “wheels,” and pets ready for the Midsummer Kiddie Parade Saturday, June 16.
This year’s theme is “Red, White and Blue.”
Registration begins at 10:30 a.m. with judging at 11:30 a.m. and the parade steps off at noon.
The categories are:
Group one – walking or children with strollers, wagons or scooters;
Group two – is wheels such as tricycles, toy cars, bicycles or battery operated wheels;
Group three – anything with animals.
Brownies and Cub Scouts in uniform are welcome.
The parade organizes at City Hall parking lot across from the Legion Hall on Elm Street. The parades runs east to 6th Ave. then one block south to Main Street, then two blocks west to County road 30 (Old 61), then one block north to Elm and back to City Hall.
