Lake State Federal Credit Union’s (LSFCU) Community Improvement Foundation awarded a $1,220 grant to the North Branch Area Traveling Baseball Association. The funds were used for the purchase of new equipment.

Lake State has given over $500,000 from their Community Improvement Foundation to programs in the membership area.

The goal of the Community Improvement Foundation is to provide not-for-profit and governmental organizations, within the Credit Union’s membership area, monies for various projects.

Grants are being awarded throughout the year. The next review dates of applications will be in September 5, 2012.

To get an application, visit their website at or go to any LSFCU branch.
