We ‘R Able invites area residents to enjoy Saturday morning, July 14 at Dennis Frandsen Park, west of Rush City, where Kriste Ericsson will lead TIPS Promenad, a type of scavenger hunt for families and individuals that originated in Sweden.
To begin, everyone picks up a TIPS sheet that shows where to look for a series of questions in multiple-choice format. After moving through the park, marking the correct answers, and enjoying nature, participants return to the starting point to check in. Modest prizes are awarded to those who have the most correct answers.
There is a small fee to participate, and pre-registration is recommended to help facilitate the organization of the event. For more information and to register, call 320-358-1220. The park is located on the north end of Rush Lake, 5 miles west of Rush City on Co. Rd. 1 and then 2 miles west on Co. Rd. 2.
All We ‘R Able I programs are accessible and open to the general public.
