Catholic Charities Senior Dining in North Branch and Rush City is holding a special “Take Your Grandchild to Lunch” day.
On Tuesday, June 19, senior dining will celebrate “Baseball Day” with a menu consisting of hot dog on a bun with all the fixings, “Batter Up” baked beans, “Crack of the Bat” coleslaw, a “Minnesota Twin” scoop of ice cream and milk.
This event is a great way for local seniors to enjoy an affordable, healthy lunch with their grandchildren or other special young people in their lives. Cost of a lunch for children age 10 and under is $3.50; cost for children over 10 is $5.
Senior dining offers a nutritious meal in a warm and caring atmosphere with friendship and fun for people age 60 and over. The suggested contribution for diners 60-plus and spouse is $3.50 – $7. No one over age 60 is denied a meal based on ability to pay.
