Decide and act, America

To the editor:

The gauntlet has been thrown down. America, we must stand with one voice, with non-violence and loyalty to the Founders’ intentions for this great and exceptional nation.

If we did not respond first in disbelief, giving way to nausea, moving to anger and then to resolve to the Supreme Court decision to uphold Obamacare, we are not Americans true to our founding principle of individual liberty — to succeed or to fail dependent alone on our own abilities and resolve, and not the government’s eager offer to care for us cradle to grave.

Over the past 100 years, since Progressive Party leader Teddy Roosevelt, progressives (now a.k.a. liberals/Democrats/socialists) have been worming their way into the fabric of our lives until they have nearly complete control over our every move. This is their aim: power and control. In their view they, as the elite and educated, know best what we should eat, what and where our children should be taught, what kind of health care we should have, how much money we should make and whether we can spend or save it as we wish.

I for one have had enough. Get ACTIVE and VOTE. This election is the most important in our entire history. Do we want to wrest freedom back from our wannabe oppressors, or do we want to forced into the progressive model: all equal, and therefore all poor? Decide and ACT.
