A young black bear visited the Walz backyard on the 4^th of July at approximately 4 p.m.

Bob and Jeanne Walz said they had been taking down their backyard feeders at night after they had been visited by a bear, perhaps the same one, in mid-May at their home on Riverside Court in North Branch.

This time, the bear endured 103 degree temps trying to taking down their feeder in the daytime.
