Fairview offers sports physicals for student athletes

If your child participates in school sports, it’s not too early to think about sports physicals.

Every student athlete needs a Minnesota State High School League-qualifying sports physical every three years. Once again this year, Fairview is making it easy to meet this requirement at a low cost while helping your child’s school.

Fairview Clinics and Fairview Sports and Orthopedic Care are offering a series of MSHSL-qualifying sports physical evening events for student athletes in July and early August. Physicals will be performed by a comprehensive medical team of physicians, physician assistants, physical therapists and athletic trainers. The physicals do not include immunizations. The cost is $25, paid at the time of service, with all proceeds returned to the student’s school.
