Midsummer Ambassador Program appreciates support

To the Editor:

Midsummer once again has came and gone, and I would like to take this opportunity to say thanks to the many people that made this “Midsummer Candidate” season as fabulous as it was.

Thanks first to American Legion Post 85 for sponsoring this annual event and congratulations to you on a completely successful celebration.

Thank you to our nine outstanding candidates: Jessica, Danielle, Sydney, Lydia, Alicia, Alyssa, Kiaysa, Ashlee and Brittany; their sponsors: NB Dairy Queen, Aire Serv, Joe’s on Main, Fantastic Sams, Tesoro, Pure Bliss Spa and Tan, Hair Design, North Country Coffee and Main Street Hardware; and our Master of Ceremonies, Charley Klopp.

A special thanks to Carol at Stellar Kent and Sharon at the North Branch Outlet Center for their contribution to our program.

Thanks to Helena Lynne Photography, North Metro Signs, Cathie Mork, Laurie Solle, Dawn at Maple Commons, NB Chamber of Commerce, the Post Review, Isanti-Chisago Co Press, NB Golf Course, NB Fire Dept, Missy Melby and Alyssa Artz, past Ambassadors who are always there to lend a helping hand.

Thanks to all who supported our programs, coming to our dessert, dinner and carwash. Jim and Randy, thank you for pulling the 6,000 staples out of the float and fixing it for us. Thank you 2011 Ambassadors  Kallie Grote, Abby Carlson and Meghan Wicklund for a fantastic memorable year. If I have forgotten anyone, please accept my apologizes.

It’s been a fantastic six years with the Ambassador program. I’ve made some great friendships with the candidates, Ambassadors and their families.  Thank you American Legion Post 85 for giving me this opportunity.

Sherri Trushenski, I wish you all the best of luck as coordinator of the program in the upcoming year. I hope you will get all of the support for this program that I did. Thank you for all of your help this year.

Congratulations to Jessica, Lydia and Sydney. We are off and running for a fantastic year!
