Lionettes garner second-place finish

The North Branch #2 Lionette softball squad, dubbed “Purple Dynamite,” finished second in a two-day tournament held in Stacy July 27-28.
Coach Cindy Hult commended her seventh-to-ninth-grade girls for their heady play that lead to the impressive finish.
Eight teams were entered in the tournament and Purple Dynamite played six games to secure second place.
