If I’ve heard it once, I’ve heard it a thousand times: How do we let people know what a wonderful school district we have?
The fact is we are doing great things here at North Branch Area Public Schools NBAPS). We are no longer going to qualify that statement with others like “with the resources we have” or “despite our challenges.” We are doing great things. Period.
This year we will be offering Project Lead the Way (PLTW) at the middle school, with plans to implement at the high school next year. PLTW is a rigorous STEM curriculum that will set the table for our students to be successful in life.
We have access to technology in the classroom that surpasses many school districts. We have interventions at all levels to help all kids get the most out of their education.
And that is just the beginning.
Now, we would like you to hear what you think. This fall, NBAPS is putting together a video called “Spread the Red: What’s Great About NBAPS?” Technology makes it easier than ever to find out what you think and spread the word.
Being a part of our video is easy: Record yourself talking about what you love about NBAPS, upload it to YouTube, and send a link [email protected]
That’s all there is to it. NBAPS will load video clips to our YouTube channel and you will get to choose our semi-finalists for us by “liking” your favorite videos.
Finalists will be chosen by the school district and winners will receive a prize; “Viking Bucks” that can be used for spirit wear, parking permits, school store items, athletic passes, and much more.
“Spread the Red” will be our calling card – our digital ambassador – for years to come. I hope you will help us make it the best it can possibly be.
So, what do you think is great about NBAPS?
