Any threat of rain was washed away by sunshine and blue skies Saturday for another good time at the Rush City Music and Arts Festival. While many came for the music, others marveled at the arts and fine assembly of classic cars and tractors, which contrasted with the new and improved Main Street.
Following the karaoke contest and Brat Pack Radio band on Friday night, folks on Saturday tapped their toes to the blue grass/jazz sounds of One For Daddy-O, the one and only Chmielewski Fun Time Band and the Troy Castellano Group, a local and award-winning modern rock band. Concluding the evening were performances by the karaoke winner and the high energy country band, The Killer Hayseeds.
