NB Chamber holds 13th annual Golf Classic

The extreme heat of summer 2012 had lifted last week as 96 golfers took to the North Branch Golf Course last Thursday for the 13th annual North Branch Area Chamber of Commerce Golf Classic.
A shotgun start at 1 p.m. sent 20 teams, representing 56 area businesses, to the teeing grounds.
When it was over, the winning team was the Pizza Pub of North Branch with score of 28.

Hungry golfers returned to the club house and dined on tasty Hors d’oeuvres until the steak and sweet corn dinner was ready. Following dinner was a live auction, game host prize awards, raffle drawings and fun and fellowship.
The annual Golf Classic is the largest fundraiser the Chamber holds each year.
