Comeback falls short for NB volleyball
The North Branch volleyball team fought tough in its first game of the season but lost in a heartbreaker 3-2 to Cambridge-Isanti. The girls hosted the Bluejackets on Thursday and battled it out in five sets: 17-25, 20-25, 25-18, 25-19 and 11-25.
The Vikings will play their next two games on the road where they will take on the Elk River Elks at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30 and the Orioles from St. Louis Park at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 4.
