Girls soccer wallops Golden Bears 8-0
In its first game of the season, the Viking girls soccer team overwhelmed the Eveleth-Gilbert Golden Bears and brought home a 8-0 victory. Next, the North Branch team will face the Spring Lake Park/St. Anthony Panthers at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30 in Spring Lake Park before taking on host Cambridge-Isanti Bluejackets at 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 31. The Vikings will host the Totino-Grace Eagles at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 4.
