Viking boys soccer starts 2012 with tie
The North Branch boys soccer team on Friday settled for a 1-1 tie in its first game of 2012 when facing the Eveleth-Gilbert Area Golden Bears in Eveleth. The Vikings will host its next three match-ups with the Spring Lake Park/St. Anthony Village Panthers at 5 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30; Cambridge-Isanti Bluejackets at 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 31; and the Totino-Grace Eagles at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 4.
