The empty field at the corner of Falcon Avenue and Highway 95 will soon be the sight of a beautiful new Fairview Clinic in North Branch.

It was announced last week that partners Fairview Clinics and United Properties have received permits to build a new 18,000 square-foot clinic at that location.

Construction will begin soon and conclude in spring 2013. The present Fairview Clinic in North Branch will relocate from its current space at 6413 Oak St. once the new facility is complete.

The new clinic will be twice as large as the current facility and include additional exam rooms, large procedure rooms, a physical therapy gym and a drive-through Fairview Pharmacy.

Fairview Clinics – North Branch currently offers full-service family medicine care, diabetes education, and nutrition services, as well as extended hours. The new clinic will also provide OB-GYN and pediatric services, and on-site physical therapy services.

“We’re excited to expand our commitment in the North Branch community and the region,” stated Steven Endrud, vice president of operations for Fairview Clinics.

“The new state-of-the-art clinic allows us to give patients access to additional services and specialists in one convenient location. It will also be more energy-efficient and incorporate natural sunlight.”

Paula Rehder, MD, who has been practicing at the North Branch clinic for 15 years, is excited about the move.

“The additional exam rooms and services will allow us to provide more streamlined care in a very beautiful space,” she said. “Plus, the new location is less than 15 minutes away from Fairview Lakes Medical Center, where our team admits patients.”

In addition to Fairview Clinics and United Properties, the project team includes architect BDH & Young, civil engineer EVS and general contractor RJM Construction.

Fairview also operates a physical therapy facility in North Branch which will be relocated to the new clinic when it opens.
