Circle of Friends begins 11th year
Family Pathways has been serving our communities for 34 years. One of their programs through Youth Services is Circle of Friends. Now starting its 11th year, the program offers activities for special needs youth in grades 9-12.
Circle of Friends offers teens with special needs a chance to work on their social skills while enjoying fun activities with a volunteer peer buddy mentor.
Groups meet twice a month. An activities/events calendar with all the details of what, where, when and any cost is available online at www.familypathways.org.
While enrollment and many functions are free, students cover their expense for activities with a cost like movies, eating out and bowling.
