The Rush City boys cross country team took fourth place out of seven teams, while the girls team was incomplete in the St. John’s Prep Johnny Bread Run Thursday, Sept. 27. Crossing the finish line first for the Tiger boys was Garrett Larson placeing 10th out of 82 runners with a time of 18:52 in the 5k run. Kevin Nelson came in 13th (19:10), Andy Johnson 21st (19:49), Devan Larson 28th (20:17), Colton Baldwin 33rd (20:35), Ethan Rundquist 38th (20:55) and Zeth Langworthy 40th (21:07). Sammi Oscarson placed 19th out of 67 competetors in the girls 4k run, while Payton Ramberg finished 22nd. The Rush City boys and girls cross country teams will compete in the Swain Invitational at Enger Golf Course in Duluth at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 6.
