A comedy show not to miss in RC

The Rush City Education Foundation is putting on its fundraising Comedy Show Saturday, Oct. 6 in the Spare Room at Chucker’s Bowl and Lounge in Rush City.

Featured will be comedians Craig Allen and hometown girl Priscilla Nelson (Mitchell), a 1974 graduate of Rush City High School. Performing music will be “Last Resort” and Pat Knutson, a member of the RCHS Class of 1966.

Guests can enjoy a beer tasting by McDonald Distributing and a wine tasting by Stark Wines. Chucker’s will provide the food, and German-themed games and prizes will add to the fun.

The event begins with activities from 6-8 p.m.; the comedy starts at 8 p.m. Cost is $25 a person or $250 for a table of six, which includes program advertising, reserved seating, German chocolate and beer stein.

Tickets (tax deductible) are still available at Chucker’s Bowl, Coldwell Banker, Hairdo or Dye, Rush Printing, RCEF president Scott Friday (320-469-1791), Heidi Schafer and Joann Belau.

Funds are being raised by the Rush City Education Foundation Fund on behalf of the St. Croix Valley Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)3 organization.
