Bayley Ertl named MN Sports Online Four Star Performer

Vikings soccer senior forward Bayley Ertl has been named a Minnesota Sports Online Four Star Perfomer who also is ranked No. 5 in the state with 22 goals for the season.
This after she scored four goals against Fridley last Thursday.
North Branch beat the Tigers 6-1 in the home game where other goals were scored by Alex Madesen (two), Kadie Mattson (one) and Emma Pignato (one).
Mackenzie Brehm, Julia Rupp and Pignato all made one assist each.
There were only two shots on the Vikings goal, and both were stopped by goalkeeper Alyssa Rupp.
Last Saturday the team hosted and lost 2-0 to Duluth Denfeld, where Rupp stopped 15 of the 17 shots fired by the Hunters.
The North Branch girls soccer team has a 4-3-1 North Suburban Conference and 7-4-2 overall record. The Vikings will travel to Benilde-St. Margaret’s High School in St. Louis Park to face the top ranked Red Knights (12-0-1) at 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4.
