NB volleyball takes two in shut out style

The Vikings earned a pair of shut-out victories in volleyball action last week.
First up, the girls beat the visiting Spring Lake Park Panthers 3-0 (25-13, 25-3, 25-13 ) on Sept. 25. Two days later, it was the same result in Fridley where the girls declawed the Tigers 3-0 (25-19, 25-5, 25-5).
The Vikings are now 5-1 in the North Suburban Conference with a 9-5 overall record.
The North Branch volleyball team will host the Totino-Grace Eagles (14-5 record) at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4 before competing in a tournament at Mora High School on Saturday, Oct. 6. The girls will then host the Chisago Lakes Area Wildcats (11-9) on Dig Pink Tuesday, Oct. 9 at 7 p.m.
