Barrett responds to letter

This letter is in response to the one from a week ago authored by Georgia Anderson, a Chisago County DFL district delegate, who made false accusations against me about campaign sign locations and a web site which, apparently, links to my campaign website; www.vote4bob.com.
Regarding the location of campaign signs, once I get permission from a landowner, the address is e-mailed to one of my campaign volunteers who then installs the sign. Neither I nor my volunteers block any other signs that might be on the land as doing so would be disrespectful to the land owner and my opponent. However, if Ms. Anderson would like to contact me, I would be happy to move whichever Barrett sign she feels might be blocking the particular sign in question. My e-mail address is bob@vote4bob.com.
The second unfounded allegation is that I purchased the domain name of my opponent and redirected it to my campaign website, vote4bob.com.This is also untrue. Neither I nor any members of the Bob Barrett campaign team have purchased any website that uses the name of my opponent. Since my opponent is a long time politician who has ran for many different political offices, I am guessing that the website may have been purchased by someone who, for whatever reason or reasons, has not historically supported him.
My campaign team is not focused on websites or campaign signs but on the real issues that are extremely important to Chisago County families; namely creating jobs, reducing taxes, and improving our children’s education.

Rep. Bob Barrett

Mr Barratt, I too have noticed how your sign appeared in front of Mr Olseen’s sign. On US 8 between Chisago City and Wyoming. This must represent your team, not playing fair. And then you deny it. I’ve watched your votes. You take money first from the school districts and disabled. That’s not fair. I’m voting Rick Olseen. Craig Roberts
