Rush City seniors Jennifer Tryon and Adam Engel on Oct. 8 shared their personal experiences from Girls and Boys State on a night they received awards and recognition.

Girls State raised over 6,000 pair of socks as part of its 2012 mission, shared Tryon, who was elected a county police officer.

Calling it an “amazing experience,” Engel was elected as town historian, and also ran an election campaign for a county congressman.
