NB golfer is Falcon Ridge Club champ

Trent Minke of North Branch is the 2012 Club Champion at Falcon Ridge Golf Course in Stacy.
Minke played beautiful golf both days of the tournament shooting a one under par 70 on the first day and a two under par 69 on day two. He was very consistent after starting the tournament with four birdies on the front nine to take control of the leader board from the beginning.
Joe Fairbanks shot rounds of 74 and 71 for second place.
Third place was Don Simonson with rounds of 80 and 71.
Newcomer Amy Genin is the 2012 Women’s Club Champion at Falcon Ridge. She fired rounds of 96 and 87 for a 183, 36-hole total that was good for a 13-shot victory over Donna Flynn, who posted scores of 96 and 100 for second place.
Men’s Net Flight winner was Steve “6 pack” Kotosky of Forest Lake, who had a fantastic net score of 64 on day two to go with his first round net 77 and 141 total. Second place tie went to Josh Mishler who shot steady rounds of net 71 and net 72 and Dr. Andy Ulvin, net 75 and net 68.
The Men’s Senior Flight featured a 5-hole playoff between friends Dan Severson and Ron Perrault who tied with the score of 155 after 36 holes. Severson, who shot a geat 73 on day two, made par on hole #5 to win the playoff and claim the senior championship.
