Join Cambridge native Joan Steffend at Scout & Morgan Books on Saturday, Nov. 3, from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m., when she presents and signs copies of her new book, “peace in, peace out.”

The book encourages readers to find peace inside of themselves (peace in) and look for ways to share that peace with others (peace out). It reminds us that the smallest actions can have the biggest impact.

Joan is the founder of Peace Begins With Me, a humanitarian non-profit organization dedicated to education, inspiration and collaboration in the area of inner peace — knowing that, because we are all connected, inner peace is the way to global peace.

Joan has spent almost 30 years in the media, first as a national Emmy-winning news reporter/anchor at the NBC affiliate in Minneapolis-St. Paul, and then as a top-rated host on HGTV. She has appeared on Oprah, Live With Regis and Kelly and the Today Show.

Books are available at Scout & Morgan Books and this event is free and open to the public. For more information, call 763-689-2474.

Scout & Morgan Books, 114 Buchanan St. N., is located  in downtown Cambridge.
