The North Branch Lions will again be providing a complete home-cooked, hot turkey dinner with all the traditional trimmings on Thanksgiving day for anyone who would otherwise not have one — for any reason.
Last year, there were 140 free dinners provided, according to Lions President Chris Thoma.
“There is no charge for the meal, and we are asking for help in locating folks who for whatever reason won’t have the opportunity for a traditional Thanksgiving dinner,” Thoma said.
The meal will be delivered beginning shortly before noon on Thanksgiving day. The menu will include roast turkey, stuffing, potatoes and gravy, cranberries, Waldorf salad, dinner roll and pumpkin pie.
Thoma asks that you contact your local church, the North Branch Senior Center or the chamber of commerce at 651-674-4077 if you or somebody you know would like to receive this meal.
Volunteers are needed to help deliver the meals. If you can help, please call the chamber office and provide your name.
