SF/NB Girls Hockey vs. Minnehaha & at St. Cloud Tournament
The St. Francis/North Branch girls hockey team with North Branch skaters; Mallory Olson, Erynn Downey, Kaylyn Forliti and Miranda Swanson defeated Minnehaha (Concordia Academy-Roseville/DeLaSalle/Minnehaha Academy/St. Agnes/Saint Croix Lutheran) 5-2 Tuesday, Nov. 20. Downey scored an unassisted goal, while Olson aided in the win with an assist.The team then competed in a tournament at St. Cloud Municipal Athletic Complex last weekend and fell 2-1 to Sartell/Sauk Rapids and 7-0 to St. Cloud. The St. Francis/North Branch girls hockey team has a 1-3 overall record. The Fighting Saints will travel to Superior Ice Arena in Wisconsin to face the Spartans at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4.
