Girls hockey update
The Fighting Saints girls hockey team, with North Branch skaters Mallory Olson, Erynn Downey, Kaylyn Forliti and Miranda Swanson, defeated Superior, Wis., 3-1 Tuesday, Dec. 4, before losing to Irondale 8-0 Dec. 8.
With a 2-4 overall record, the St. Francis/North Branch girls hockey team will: travel to St. Louis Park Recreation Center to face the Orioles at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13; host the Chisago Lakes Area Wildcats at East Bethel Ice Arena at 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15; and travel to Cloquet to face Cloquet/Esko/Carlton at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18.
